The area of a rectangle is 100 Sq inches. the perimeter of the rectangle is 40 inches. a second rectangle has the same area but a different perimeter. is the second rectangle a square? explain why or why not.

    A rectangle with an area of 100 square inches and a perimeter of 40 feet must have sides of 10 feet each, making it a square. A rectangle with the same area and any other perimeter would therefore not be a square.
