With 2 dices, what is the probability that a person would get two of the same number on both dice

    So the number of the first die doesn't matter, as long as the second is the same. thereby the first die can be 6 options from 6 choices, or 6/6, which equals 1. the second die has to be whatever the first is, so there is only 1 option out of 6 choices, or 1/6. Multiply these together, and you will get 1/6.
