To graph a linear equation, you need to know the slop and the y-intercept.
You can see that the y intercept is (0, - 2), so that is where the line crosses the y axis.
The slope is - 1. This means that from the y-intercept, you can keep going down 1 and right 1, or up 1 and left 1.
