In January she eats 5/8 of the cookies there are 12 cookies left in the jar. How many were in the jar at the start?

    Ok so first you have a whole 12 would be 3/8s of it.

    So this might seem complicated but multiply 8 * 12 which is 96 divide it by 3 and you get 32 and thats the answer
