To decide which cake would be the best value for money, we will calculate the volume of each cake

    Cake A: 9.5 * 13 * 2 = 247 inches³

    Cake B: 12 * 14 * 1.5 = 252 inches³

The best value cake will be cake B

    Cake B is 14 - 13 = 1 inch longer and 12 - 9.5 = 2.5 inches wider but it's also 0.5 inches shorter than cake A.
