If it took 7 hour to mow 4 lawns, then at that rate how many lawns could be mowed in 35 hours? At what rate per hour were lawns being mowed?

    how many lawns could be mowed in 35 hours?

    7/4 = 35/x

    cross multiply 7x=4*35

    7x = 140

    x=20

    At what rate per hour were lawns being mowed?

    7/4 = r

    r=1.75 hours per lawn
