Factors of 12 that add up to negative 8

I dont have the answer but can tell you a simple way to find it for the next time you may come a cross it. on a scientific calculator there is a button on it that says "Table" press the button and put in this for example 12 over x. then you can go down a series of factors that you can add to get you desired number.
