Lets first put it as a mixed number. write it as u read it, 1 and 75 hundredths. 1 75/100, as u can see, 75/100 can be simplified further, and it's simplified form is 3/4. 1 3/4, now to change it into an improper fraction multiply the whole number by the denominator and add the numerator. so 4*1+3 = 7
keep the denominator so ur improper fraction is 7/4
