If f (x) = 3x+5/x, what is f (a+2)

F (a+2) means everywhere you see an x in f (x) you put (a+2). Now, I'm assuming that since there's no parenthesis ... 3x is not part if the fraction. If it is then the answer will not be the same.
f (a+2) = 3 (a+2) + 5 / (a+2)
= 3a + 6 + 5 / (a+2)
