A stone weighs 4.4kg. convert this into grams and find the volume of the stone, given that its density is 2.2/cm ³

    From the relation,

    1kg=1000g

    4.4kg=?

    so, 4.4kg=4400g

    density=mass/volume

    volume=mass/density

    =4400/2.2

    2000cm3
