11z ➗ 16 ➕ 7z ➗ 8 = 5 ➗ 16
x 8 x 8
11z ➗ 16 ➕ 7z = 5 ➗ 16 x 8
x 16 x 16
11z ➕ 7z = 5 x 8
18z = 40
➗ 18. ➗ 18
z=40 ➗ 18
z = 2.2
This is the way I was taught to do it. if the answer is incorrect, at least you can use my work as an example to go off of.
(what you do to one side you do to the other. I'm using my phone and everything condensed, I apologize)
