Answer: 1 solution: x = - 20
Solve for x.
-6 (x + 7) = - 4x - 2 Distributive Property
-6x - 42 = - 4x - 2 Add 4x to both sides
-2x - 42 = - 2 Add 42 to both sides
-2x = 40 Divide by - 2 to both sides
x = - 20 Answer!
