Based on a farmer's soil composition he must mix his fertilizer at a certain strength.

He must mix

5% of nitrogen, 6% phosphorus and 4% potassium per tonne. How many

kilograms of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium will there be if he mixes 0.5 tonnes

of fertilizer?

    Find 5%, 6%, and 4% of 0.5.

    5% of 0.5 = 0.05 * 0.5 = 0.025 of nitrogen

    6% of 0.5 = 0.06 * 0.5 = 0.03 of phosphorus

    4% of 0.5 = 0.04 * 0.5 = 0.02 of potassium
