To solve the inequality - 4x < 8, you would divide both sides of the inequality by - 4. true or false

    but, you can also add 4x to both sides then mius 8 from both sides then divide both sides by 4 as well

    true is the answer (if this is a trick to see if I remember to flip the sign, then you also have to flip the sign when dividing by a negiatve number, don't forget)
