    So from the situation you can set up a set of equation:

    10v+6b=276

    5v+2b=117

    I will first solve for b

    10v+4b=234

    2b=42

    Each bus holds 21 students.

    5v+42=117

    5v=75

    v=25

    In conclusion, each van holds 25 students and bus holds 21 students
