The goal is to raise $500.

For selling c boxes, they make $2.75,

    Total made = $ 2.75c

For them to be able to make the $500,

    2.75c ≥ 500

    c ≥ 500 / 2.75

    c ≥ 181.82

For them to reach and exceed their target, the number of boxes should be greater than 181.82

So c should be like 182, 183, 184, and above

    Hope this clarifies it.

They need to sell 182 boxes because 181 boxes won't be enough to reach the goal.
