Andrew took a random sample of 10 decorated ceramic cups from a population of 100 cups. Barbara took another random sample of 10 cups from the same population for the same task. What would happen if Andrew and Barbara both choose a sample size of 20? The difference of their sample means is likely to ... A. Remain the same B. increase C. decrease

I think the answer is increase because:

10 divide by 100 = 0.1

10 divided by 90 = 0.1

but 20 divided by 100 = 0.2

and 20 divided by 80 = 0.25

No, it decreases, because when sample size increases, both means come closer to population mean
