This equation can be solved easily ... just needs some focusing.
Read carefully:
2x + 5y = 7
We need to get the y by itself on one side.
2x+5y=7
-2x - 2x
5y = - 2x + 7
5y/5 = - 2/5x + 7/5
y = - 2/5x + 1.4
Look at that! We got the y value already!
Answer would be: y = - 2/5x + 1.4
