    2x+5y=7

    This equation can be solved easily ... just needs some focusing.

    Read carefully:

    2x + 5y = 7

    We need to get the y by itself on one side.

    2x+5y=7

    -2x - 2x

    5y = - 2x + 7

    5y/5 = - 2/5x + 7/5

    y = - 2/5x + 1.4

    Look at that! We got the y value already!

    Answer would be: y = - 2/5x + 1.4
