On a true-false test, the ratio of true answers to false answers is 4 to 3. There are 18 false answers. How many answers are true? 2 14 20 24

    Ratio = 4/3, if the false answers = 18 (6imes more than 3), then the true answers should be 6 times more so that to keep the same ratio:

    4/3 = (4x6) / (3x6) = 24/18. So 24 answers are true if 18 are false
