A student wants to write the scale of a statue of President Kennedy, who was 6ft tall. The statue is 8ft tall. The student writes the scale as 6ft : 8ft. Is the student correct? Explain

    He is incorrect because if the ratio is that for every 6 ft on the model is 8 feet in real life, he already exceeded his Kennedy's height by 2.
