Y=4x+5 has a gradient of 4 what is the equation of aline parallel to it?

    A line parallel to it will have the same gradient (slope) of 4, but a different y int.

    so a line parallel to it could be:

    y = 4x + 3 ... or y = 4x + 4, or y = 4x + 5 ... that last number, ur y intercept, can be anything but 5
