    It's 2 (6x + 5 + 2y).

You basically multiply the number outside the parentheses by everything inside.

    So 2 * 6x = 12x,

    2 * 5 = 10,

    2 * 2y = 4y.

    This is the same as 12x + 10 + 4y.
