    2x - 3y = - 2 ⇒ 4x - 6y = - 4

    4x + 1y = 3 ⇒ 4x + 1y = 3

    7y = - 7

    7 7

    y = - 1

    2x - 3 (-1) = - 2

    2x + 3 = - 2

    -3 - 3

    2x = - 5

    2 2

    x = - 2 1/2

    (x, y) = (-2 1/2, - 1)
