A handicapped-access ramp starts at ground level and rises 27 inches over a distance of 30 feet. What is the slope of this ramp?

    because slope is just rise over run

    Slope=rise/run

    rise=27

    run=30

    slope=rise/run=27/30=9/10

    slope is 9/10
