    4x - 3y = - 7

    4x + y = - 3

    -4y = - 4

    -4 - 4

    y = 1

    4x - 3y = - 7

    4x - 3 (1) = - 7

    4x - 3 = - 7

    + 3 + 3

    4x = - 4

    4 4

    x = - 1

    (x, y) = (-1, 1)
