A rectangle had side lengths of (3x + 6) inches and (2x - 4) inches. write an expression to represent the perimeter of the rectangle. then find the value of x if the perimeter is 94 inches.

    the value of x is

    2 (3x+6+2x-4) = 94

    6x+12+4x-8=94

    6x+4x=94-12+8

    10x=90

    x=9
