    Eliminate

    multiply first equatin by - 2

    mulitply second by 3 and add them

    -6x-14y=8

    6x+15y=-6

    add them

    y=2

    sub

    3x+7 (2) = - 4

    3x+14=-4

    minus 14

    3x=-18

    divide 3

    x=-6

    (-6,2)
