    Get all the q terms to one side of the equation and isolate them.

    Add 18 to both sides and subtract qr from both sides.

    6q-qr=s+18

    Factor out a q on the left side.

    q (6-r) = s+18

    Divide by (6-r) on both sides to solve for q.

    q = (s+18) / (6-r)
