    The answer is C, because 6*2 = 12 and to get to 72 the closet answer is 6

    A + L * W

    A = 72

    L = W + 6

    72 = W (W + 6)

    72 = W^2 + 6W

    W^2 + 6W - 72 = 0

    (W + 12) (W - 6) = 0

    W + 12 = 0

    W = - 12 ... not this because it is negative

    W - 6 = 0

    W = 6 < = = = width is 6 cm

    L = W + 6

    L = 6 + 6

    L = 12 cm ... length is 12 cm
