Ashton left his house and ran 4 miles east and then 3 miles north. he then took the diagonall path back home. if the burned 105 calories every mile thet he ran, how many total calories did he burn on his run

    First you find out the number of miles there is. For that, you use the following calculation:

    4 square plus 3 square equals diagonal square.

    which is

    16 plus 9 equals diagonal square

    so

    root of 25 equals 5

    So we add it all up: 4 plus 3 plus 5 equals 12

    So he ran 12 miles altogether.

    Then: 12 times 105 equals 1260 calories.
