Three randomly selected households are surveyed. / The numbers of people in the households are 1, 3, and 8. Assume that samples of size n = 2 are randomly selected with replacement from the population of 1, 3, and 8. Listed below are the nine different samples

Find the variance of each of the nine samples then summarize the sampling distribution of the variances in the format of a table representing the probability distribution of the distinct variance values

    The question is asking to find the variance for the said samples in the problem ans use the sample data to determine each variance, and base on my further computation and further calculation, I would say that the answer would be the following:

    #1. 3.3 - > 1 and 3 - > 2/9

    #2. 1-> 0->3/9

    #3. 6.3 - > 8 and 3-> 2/9

    #4 49-> 1 and 8-> 2/9
