    If it is a solution, then when inputed, it will yeild a true statement

    it is in (x, y) form so

    (4,20)

    if x=4 and y=20

    y=4x+7

    20=4 (4) + 7

    20=16+7

    20=23

    false so this does not work

    (-2,-1)

    x=-2

    y=-1

    -1=4 (-2) + 7

    -1=-8+7

    -1=-1

    true

    the answer is (-2,-1)

    (4, 20)

    y = 4x + 7

    y = 4 (4) + 7

    y = 16 + 7

    y = 23

    y = 4x + 7

    20 = 4x + 7

    - 7 - 7

    13 = 4x

    4 4

    2.25 = x

    y = 4x + 7

    20 = 4 (4) + 7

    20 = 16 + 7

    20 ≠ 23

    (-2, - 1)

    y = 4x + 7

    y = 4 (-2) + 7

    y = - 8 + 7

    y = - 1

    y = 4x + 7

    -1 = 4x + 7

    - 7 - 7

    -8 = 4x

    4 4

    -2 = x

    y = 4x + 7

    -1 = 4 (-2) + 7

    -1 = - 8 + 7

    -1 = - 1

    It is equal to (-2, - 1).
