Blackpool tower is 158 m tall. A model is being built to the scale of 1:100. How tall should the model be?

    A scale of 1:100 means that "for each meter in the scale, there are 100 meters in reality. "

    so the dimensions of the scale will be the original lenghts but divided by 100 (100 divided by 100 is 1) : so for us this is 158/100=1.58: so the model will be 1.58 meters tall.
