    For the rule y = 7 - x, just substitute the x values in:

    When x = 1, y = 7 - 1 = 6

    When x = - 1, y = 7 - - 1 = 7 + 1 = 8

    ∴ (1, y) = (1, 6) and (-1, y) = (-1, 8)
