A plastic tub has capacity of 13.5 quarts. It can hold 3 times as much liquid as a pail. The pail can hold twice as much liquid as a can. Find the capacity of the pail and that of the can in quarts

    The pail can hold 4.5 quarts and the can holds 2.25 quarts.
