You mus first find common denominator by multiplying bottom number to equal each other. 2*5=10 and 5*2=10. You must also multiply top number by same number used to find common denominator. Resulting in 6 & 5/10 and 6/10. next convert the 6 into a fraction, by multiplying by denominator. 6x10=60. 60+5 = 65. 65/10 and 6/10. Finally subtract and get 59/10. Also known as 5 & 9/10
