Marita orders 12 yards of material to make banners. If she needs 2 foot of fabric for each banner how many banners can she make?

    1 yard is 3 feet so if there are 12 yards then 12 times 3 is equa to 36 feet. Since we need only 2 feet for a banner, then 36 divided by to is 18. So she can make 18 banners out of 12 yards
