If the sum of the digits of a two-digit number is 7and the tens digit is one more than the ones digit, find the number.

    Set the ones digit to x. 2x+1=7, so 2x=6, so x=3.

    x+1 is the tens digit, so the tens digit is 4 and the number is 43.
