    Multiply the first equation by 3 and tge second by 4:

    12x+15y=-45

    -12x-8y=52

    then add the equations:

    0x+7y=7

    7y=7

    y=1

    so 4x+5 (1) = - 15

    4x+5=-15

    4x=-20

    x=-5
