Does x=5 in this equation? ... 2+3 (x+1) = 6x

    Actually x = 1.67 / x = 5/3 in this equation

    In my opinion I would do another equation resulting with the same answer is 2+3x+1=6x because 2+3=5+1=6+x=6x.
