    25% off of $1400 equal: 1400 +.25 = 350, so 1400 - 350 = 1050

So now the computer with 25 % off is $1050.

    tax 7%, means 1050 +.07 = $73.50 (sales tax charge)

Total computer with 25% off plus 7% tax equal:

    $1050 + 73.50 = $1,123.50

Amir has saved $1200, so he has enough money to purchase the computer.
