Charles is walking around a fountain that has a circumference of 124 feet. what is the diameter of the fountain?

    circumference is given by:

    C=πd

    where;

    d=diameter

    thus;

    124=π*d

    hence;

    d=124/π

    d=39.47=39.4 feet
