A chess player won 12 of the games he played. If his ratio of Wins to loses was 2:7, how many games did he play total

    Number of games won = 12 = 2/9 (According to given ratio)

    Therefore; 1/9 = 12/2 = 6

    Total Number of games played = 6 x 9

    = 54
