True or false the opposite sides of a kite are never parallel

    If the opposite sides were parallel, then you would have a parallelogram (which isn't a kite). A parallelogram has opposite sides that are congruent.

    A kite is a figure with adjacent sides that are congruent. A kite does not have opposite sides that are congruent.
