What are the x-intercepts of the function f (x) = - 2x^2-3x+20

    Hello:

    f (x) = 0

    2x²-3x + 20 = 0

    Δ = b²-4ac a=2 b = - 3 c = 20

    Δ = (-3) ²-4 (2) (20) = 9+160=169 = 13²

    x1 = (3-13) / 4 or x2 = (3+13) / 4

    the x-intercepts are : - 5/2, 4
