    Hello:

    let : y the length and : x the width ... x< y x > 0 and y > 0

    y = 3+2x ... (1)

    xy = 35 ... (2)

    subsct in (2):

    x (3+2x) = 35

    2x² + 3x-35 = 0

    delta : (3) ² - 4 (2) (-35) = 289 = 17²

    x1 = (-3-17) / 4 < 0 (refused)

    x2 = (-3+17) / 4 = 7/2

    y = 3 + 2 (7/2) = 10
