Kelly buys shoes with all of her money. she only has 150 dollars. one pair of shoes is for her and they cost 40 dollars. the other 2 pairs of shoes are for her sisters. each of the pair of shoes cost the same price. determine the price of one pair of shoes?

    Each pair of the shoes for her sisters cost $55. (150 - 40 (Kelly's pair) = 110) then, (110/2 (for her sisters) = $55 a pair).
