If the height of the cylinder is halved and the diameter is double, by what factor will the volume of the cylinder change

    V (initial) = pi * (r^2) * h

    V (new) = pi (2r) ^2 * (h/2) = pi*4 * (r^2) * h/2=2*pi * (r^2) * h=2V (initial)

    volume will be doubled
