The gardeners in a village have been shocked by the presence of a gigantic bunny that is said to be the size of a dog. Suppose a local gardener has a garden with four rows of vegetables, each row planted from west to east. Beginning from the northern border, there are 40 leek plants in the first row; 15 cabbage plants in the second row; 30 carrots plants in the third row; and 25 turnip plants in the easternmost row. Shortly before harvest time the gardener goes on vacation for seven days. The monstrous bunny comes out at twilight each of the seven evenings and nibbles on a dozen plants, beginning with the west end of the top row and moving east. He finishes one row before moving to the west end of the next row, and he always picks up where he left off.
