    When we come to think of it, the total distance that Jordan covered after walking around the tank is the circumference of the circular base of the tank. The circumference of a circle is calculated through the equation,

    C = 2πr

    Substituting the known values,

    82.1 ft = 2πr

    The value of r in the equation is equal to 13 ft. Thus, the answer is the first choice.
